Hello, I'm not even sure that my problem is malware but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have you guys help me find out! Starting last night (for no apparent reason) I've started getting a Windows "bubble" in my taskbar about once a minute when I use Firefox that looks like this:

"firefox.exe - Corrupt File
The file or directory C:\Documents and Settings\Jess\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\kgvkspu3.default\cookies.txt is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility."

I should also note that I haven't noticed that it pops up when I have no programs open, but it pops up immediately when I open Firefox. I looked for this file and couldn't find it. I also ran Chkdsk from the Run command, even though I don't know what it is. Nothing changed. I also noticed that the title of the bubble changed when I ran different programs - when I was running McAfee Stinger it said "stng260.exe - Corrupt File" at the top but the rest was the same.

Nothing else is acting funny, it is just more annoying than anything else. I appreciate any help! Here is my Hijack This log:

I did some more searching and found that the problem isn't malware at all, it had to do with my Firefox profile, so I created a new one and all is well. Sorry to waste space

Thanks for the help you WOULD have given though! You guys are great!
