I've tried extensively to remove these files. Was using PC-Cillin 2005, Then tried NOD32, but that started given my BSOD's So i uninstalled that. Ran sfc.exe it says Windows File Protection completeled successfully or something to that effect. Run and Update Spybot - S&D and Lavasoft Ad-Aware regularly. Recently installed 'Prevx1' whatever that is, looked legit enough to me...

Anyway, here's the hijackthis.log

Turns out i had Look2Me Adware installed. I tried a removal tool, but it didnt work. I ended up using Look2Me-Destroyer v10.x That successfully detected and removed it. After that I ran Prevx1 and it found, detected and removed Update.exe, upnp.exe and _mzu_stonedrv2.exe as well as a dll, services.dll i think.

I'm currently running F-Secure's Blacklight which previously wouldnt run which hinted me to the Look2Me installation.

Hope this helps some users.

Prevx1 was previously unheard of to me, If all else is failing give it a try.

You have no active AntiVirus!

Get the free AVG 7 install it, check for updates and run a full scan
