I forgot to link the crash dump, so I'm posting again. Hello. I have been having a lot of BSOD's lately. I have no idea how they started. They are getting so bad that yesterday, I had 4 BSOD's in the same day. The error is always DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I will attach the recent crash dump, which occurred about an hour ago. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, RossBoyle, :)

After an update of your camera driver, the BSODs should stop.

Hi Owl, and thank you for your advice! Just one question. Should it matter if its Windows 10? My computer is Windows 8 and I was wondering if it would make a difference. Thank you.

Yes, the operating system version does matter. Here is the driver link for Windows 8.1:

That's okay! Most people mean Windows 8.1 when they say "Windows 8."

Sorry to hear that. :( Can you send the dump files one more time? I can't access them for some reason.

Thanks. The dump shows the same driver (with the same timestamp) as the culprit. How did you update the driver?

The BSOD's have been less frequent, but I just downloaded the driver file from the link sent by you, like you said. Thanks.

Did you actually run the installation file or did you just "download it?"
