On my iMac Running El Capitan, 10.11.6, and Safari 11.1.1, is there a way to have the long list of downloads arranged by the date they were downloaded instead of the cryptic names in alphabetical order? Thanks.

I don't know if you could do that in Safari's download list. Someone who knows might come along and tell you. If you have all the downloads in the downloads folder you could arrange them by date in Finder.

Hi Bud, I'll try that. Wonder if it'll arrange them by the date I downloaded them or the date in which they were created in some website?

I don't think it will show the date they were created in websites. You can choose "date added" to list them in "List View" to see the exact dates you downloaded them though.

That's what I want. Thanks for outlining the steps I should take, appreciated.
