Would you try with Windows HD Audio Class Driver?
Here are the instructions to switch: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/matthew_van_eerde/2010/08/23/troubleshooting-how-to-install-the-microsoft-hd-audio-class-driver/

From your thread from 2016 you said the motherboard lost sound due to a lightening strike. I'm assuming this is the same motherboard. Did you purchase an audio card? What is the make and model number?

If this is a new motherboard then I would install the audio driver and chipset on your motherboards support site if the Windows driver does not work.

Go here. Download the CMI8738 driver for Windows 7. There are multiple CMI8738 drivers. I would start with the LX. Create a Restore Point before installing the drivers.
