My PC has the same issue..
I restarted mine and it began working again but if I want to ever go back to a previous version, I have a feeling I won't be able to.

Has anyone experienced this?

XenaSphere did you ever solve it?

If this happens to me...I boot into an O/S other than Win 7 (I multiboot XP, Win 7, and Win 10) and run the chkdski /r command on the Win 7 partition.  After tha, I seem to be able to boot into the Win 7 install and I then run the sfc /scannow command.
