I've tried running sfc /scannow and the two DISM.exe commands. All is clean here. All actions are set to yes in Notifications and Actions. The only time it shows something is when I start pc and it loads my Gadwin Printscreen. I have done some test emails from Outlook mail to my Yahoo mail carrier. I have checked on the web, but nothing I've tried can fix it. Maybe someone here will come up with something I can try. Thanks.

Unless I misunderstand you completely, you cannot expect to get email notifications in 'Action Centre'. This notification system is essentially the Windows nag screen where you get told that you haven't got the right update settings or you haven't run Windows back-up yet. It certainly doesn't notify you that you have received an email.

This is a function of the email system you use and there should be a setting in the email system to notify you when new emails arrive.

I am going to be away until about the 22nd October. Time on-line will be reduced and my internet access may be limited. PMs may not be replied to as quickly as normal !

Chris. The Notifications box to the right of the time and date did indeed used to work right. It would show me the number of emails I had waiting for me. The box would turn white and give you a number as to how many emails you had. Like I said earlier, all actions are ticked to yes in the Actions Center (Quick Actions). I don't know what happened cause it used to work. I have exhausted my searching for a fix. Thanks for your reply. MoonPower
