Hi team

My new HP Envy x360 convertible 15-bqxx crashes frequently with no BSOD. It makes a tzzzz noise for about 5 seconds then restarts back to normal. Normally happens when streaming from Chrome. Also experiencing frequent GSOD forcing me to restart chrome. The event viewer displays kernel-power event ID 41.

Ive added a video of the crash to YouTube. You can find it here for reference - https://youtu.be/mjSUJcJL19c

Any ideas? Thanks very much!

That's a BSOD crash that basically hangs, when there is sound and a crash happens, the sound hangs and in your case it apparantly doesn't show the BSOD screen properly.

Event ID 41 merely means Windows didn't shutdown properly, it is only useful if you didn't know Windows shutdown unexpectedly.

Please run the tests in http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html
