Hi, folks. I have a minor issue.

I run a small business with about 600 email addresses. I send marketing emails using gmail maybe once or twice a month.

I keep a full list of all the email addresses in Google Docs, then paste them into BCC before sending the email. For customers who request to unsubscribe, I immediately go in and remove them from the master list.

Just recently I sent a new email to the group and was shocked to find new UNSUBSCRIBE requests from people I knew I had removed from the list. When I put their email address into Google Docs Search and Replace it gets no hits.

I am assuming that gmail is filling in the missing addresses in some sort of autofill mode, because it recognizes all the other addresses and thinks it's helping.

Assuming this is what's going on, is there a way for me to go into Settings and somehow tell the program to stop doing this?

Sorry for the long-winded post.

Thank you,

Scott

Just a thought....and I know this would disrupt your well oiled routine.....but....On the gmail page...in the top right hand corner ther is a icon with three lines of three dots....which if you hover thew mouse over it says 'google apps'.

Click on it and you may have to scroll down to find contacts.

I would assume that all your email addresses are here.

Simply delete the "unsubscribers'' from here. Delete by placing a tick in the box opposite the name to unsubscribe....then click on "more".....then click on Delete.

maybe ?....

Hope this helps
