Stuck at motherboard screen at startup?

This is something i'm facing since few days now.

Whenever i start my system, the screen gets stuck at motherboard screen and doesn't proceed further.

When i 1st faced this problem i checked my connections and started again it started at that time. but i'm facing this problem again. i want to get rid of this forever.

Please can anyone give me a solution.

Even if i try to press F8 it says loading boot menu and gets stuck there.

Just in case following info may be useful to you.
-Asus motherboard

-My PC is about 5 years old.

Can you boot into safe mode?


Can you boot into the BIOS?


What version of Windows?


Try a different PSU?


Are the fans working properly?

Im not trying safe mode.
Windows 8
