I am using unix solaris and I have one requirement.

copy separate files ("*.csv") to one excel file(xlsx) with multiple sheets.

These "*.csv" files are my source files (NLS.ML.csv , NLS.MW.csv , FEP.ML.csv and FEP.MW.csv) my output file is "Template prefix.xls" with 8 sheets. for more details kindly refer to the below picturevEpAP.png. about the sheets on red: Predefined sheet contain some formula to collect date from previous sheet

thanks and Regards

Thanks for your prompt response Rocky

Please I am asking to convert from CSV to xlsx. I need to convert 4 CSV files to one excel file (Xls file) each csv in one sheet with same name.

Regards

A CSV file is a form of spreadsheet.

I would save each CSV file as an XLSX file then just copy/paste each one into a separate sheet of a four sheet XLSX file, or as you wish, an eight sheet file.

If you are doing this in Linux using Libre Office or similar, then save them as Calc files, do the merge in Calc and export the whole file as MS XLSX type. This would probably be a sounder approach.
