Hello and thank you a head of time for our efforts!

WHAT:

      Model No.:Toshiba NB505-N500BL

      Part No.: PLL50U-01S008 <ES5.0>

      Motherboard (I think): K000114430 LA-6855P

QUESTION:

What is the slot on the bottom (pictured and indicated) next to the hard-drive and just underneath the mouse buttons? There's no indication in the manual or anything I could find online.

It may be for the 3G card some models were delivered with. See the schematic, It's on the page showing the Wifi slot.

Hello again, JohnC!

You are always doing a bang-up job here in the forums! Thank you for this succinct and through help. I don't know how you do it so fast.I had found those those schematics before and wasn't quite sure, but after that post and looking again at the schematic it does seem like it's the WWAN for the 3G.

Thank you again, it helped a lot!
