Cannot Install Programs, Cannot Uninstall programs, Cannot run Sfc /scannow, < Doesn't even work in Safe Mode. Constantly seeing Class not registered, Cannot Run System Restore, Cannot Repair Windows using the Install disk/drive within windows (Cannot collect Disk information), Cannot do anything at all to my Windows 7 Ultimate Computer x64bit. Cannot Install any of the Runtimes. Cannot do anything at all...

Tried fixing sfc /scannow by going to the TrustedInstaller and pressing manual then start. Does not fix it. (Windows Resource Protection cannot start the repair service) Tried sc config trustedinstaller start=auto then net start trustedinstaller. Still does not work.

I would post my system information but it says "Cant Collect Information. Cannot access the Windows Instrumentation software. Windows Management Files may be moved or missing".

What do I do? Nothing works and the solution to everything is also broken and needs fixing...

I've had every type of PC problem and somehow solved them all but never have I ever Had to deal with this. You know it's bad when you can't even run the Windows Setup or the System restore.

Is this a legal install of Win 7U?

Seems to have all the symptoms of not being such.

The obvious thing I would try...clean install.  Inability to clean install should point to either hardware or malware situations.

I would also recommend a clean install. If you have an install disk you could boot it, select Repair Computer and then do a System Restore if you want to attempt that first.

It may still be possible using a Windows 7 install disk and selecting Repair Computer.
