Lets take a partial look at the system.

You will need another computer to download FRST.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool in an uninfected computer and save it to a flash drive (Pen Drive).

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system,

Boot to the Recovery Console's Command promptr.

Boot in the Recovery Environment

  • Plug your USB Flash Drive in the infected computer
  • To enter the Recovery Environment with Windows Vista and Windows 7, follow the instructions below:
  • Restart the computer
  • Once you've seen your BIOS splashscreen (the computer manufacturer logo), tap the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears
  • Use the arrow keys to select Repair your computer, and press on Enter
  • Select your keyboard layout (US, French, etc.) and click on Next
  • Click on Command Prompt to open the command prompt
Note: If you can't access the Recovery Environment using the F8 method above, you'll need to create a Windows installation or repair media. It can be made on the computer itself or another one running the same version of Windows as the one you plan to use it on. For more information, check out this tutorial on SevenForums.
    • To enter the Recovery Environment with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, follow the instructions in this tutorial on EightForums
    • Note: If you can't access the Recovery Environment using the method above, you'll need to create a Windows installation or repair media. It can be made on the computer itself or another one running the same version of Windows as the one you plan to use it on. For more information, check out this tutorial.
      • To enter the Recovery Environment with Windows 10, follow the instructions in this tutorial on TenForums
      • Note: If you can't access the Recovery Environment using the method above, you'll need to create a Windows installation or repair media. It can be made on the computer itself or another one running the same version of Windows as the one you plan to use it on. For more information, check out this tutorial on TenForums
      • After any of these actions is performed, all user sessions are signed off and the Boot Options menu is displayed. The PC will restart into the WinRE and the selected feature is launched.
      • On the boot options, select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Command prompt.

Once in the command prompt

  • In the command prompt, type notepad and press on Enter
  • Notepad will open. Click on the File menu and select Open
  • Click on Computer/This PC, find the letter for your USB Flash Drive, then close the window and Notepad
  • In the command prompt, type e:\frst.exe (for the x64 version, type e:\frst64.exe and press on Enter
  • Note: Replace the letter e with the drive letter of your USB Flash Drive
  • FRST will open
  • Click on Yes to accept the disclaimer
  • First press the Scan button. That will deactivate the rootkit. Once the scan is finished, press the Fix button
  • This will make a log,  Fixlog.txt. Please copy and paste its contents to a  reply.

I have Windows 10 and it says I need to get to the boot menu to where I can access my flash drive but when it said Windows 10 information how to create a disk well the thing is my laptop is a gaming laptop it doesn't take a disc so can I create a dis basically with a flash drive instead

Yes you can.

You can download the Windows' image here , then Rufus here. Run Rufus and burn the image to a USB flash drive.

like I said I purchased this labtop off ebay wasn't supposed be anything wrong with it.. as soon as I start it goes from load screen to a red yellow screen saying the hardware has been deactivated and request a password, I googled it says that rental companys use the trilock security program. I'm upset I payed 600 dollars for this labtop and ebay wont reburse me. ive tried installing fabar security tool to flash drive seems not to be working. I have windows 10. but when I get to the trilock security screen if I hold a key down for a long time it will go back to the actual screen for about a min. them goes back to trilock screen. can you help? what am I no tdoing correct?

Are you able to boot to the recovery environment?

Boot from the usb drive?

I'm trying I'm confused, I download windows media tool then I image it to rufus but it keeps saying its no a iso file and rufus wont accept it as iso file only other option it gives me is non bootable which of course I don't need. but even if I do get it on rufus, what button do I hit to boot it? f11 or f10? idk I'm not a big computer guy

Perhaps I am being redirected to other page as I am not using Windows 10 at this time. Try this one and read the instructions.

https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

Using Rufus to create the USB bootable CD is easier than the Windows Media Tool, but you must download the iso file. Running the Media tool can be used also to download the iso file.. See here.
