It helps me to reproduce the error then test any potential solutions.

Something like this:

You need to make a registry adjustment so before doing that make a manual System Restore point so you have  away to undo the adjustment in case something goes wrong.

Instead of coming up with my own instructions I found this from a Google search (skip to the section: How do I enable Windows Script Host access?)

http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/windows-script-host-disabled-machine-contact-administator/

After the adjustment test again:

Since your error has to do with Battlefield 4 what did you find for possible solutions in the gaming communities which is on this link:

https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/

Maybe we are chasing the wrong error message - let's get more details:

Describe your antivirus/antimalware environment.

Click Start, Run and in the box enter:

msinfo32

Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select All (Ctrl-A), Copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

There will be some personal information (like System Name and User Name), and whatever appears to be private information to you, just delete it from the pasted information.

Post a screen shot of the error message you are seeing from Battlefield 4.

Then open a Command Prompt Window and enter the following command followed by the Enter key

wscript.exe

If there is an error message post a screen shot of that error message or does the Windows Script Host Setting box open?

Close the Command Prompt and any other windows/dialog boxes.

I don't see anything amiss there...

Maybe some other folks will have some ideas

What happens when you choose to run the wscript.exe from a Command Prompt window like my previous example?

Open a Command Prompt window and issue or copy/paste the following two commands one at a time pressing the Enter key after each.

Be sure to include the double quotes:

reg   query   "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"

reg   query   "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"

You should see something like this:

Then post a screenshot of what your Command Prompt window looks like (you should post a sceenshot similar to my example).

You need to delete a key from the registry like the article suggested:

Start like this, then see if the wscript.exe will open from a Command Prompt window:

Note that with that key present wscript.exe fails to launch on my system too.

When I delete that key wscript.exe launches without error.

The output of your reg query with Command Prompt does not match your screenshots of the regisrty and I don't know why that is.

Then from your Command Prompt issue the following command being sure to use the double quotes like before:

reg   delete  "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"    /v   Enabled   /f

Here is what mine looked like showing the key successfully deleted:

I don't know what is going on here...  it looks like you are doing everything right but what we see is not making sense to me.

Maybe there is something else going on that we don't know about or I am not asking the right questions.

When you run the reg query from a Command Prompt you can see in the results that the Enabled key is present - that is the problem.

You need to delete the value "Enabled" from the registry.

When you look in regedit you don't see any of the values you see in the reg query - there are two different values that do not show up  in the reg query.

In a Command Prompt window run these three commands one after another and post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window:

reg   query   "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"

reg   delete  "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"    /v   Enabled   /f

reg   query   "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings"

You should post a screenshot like this:
