Can Sandbox stop Malware from website?

Hi,

 

I use Sandboxie program and i have a question about this program. If, i open Internet Browser in Sandbox and i go to Malware infected website, Sandboxie stop the virus?

Stop it from running/executing? No but the sandboxing should prevent it from affecting the rest of the system outside the sandbox.

Yes, that's what I meant. Can Sandboxie stop a exploit? From video file or image for example

I would say to should protect against just about any malicious code run in the box but every program has some flaws or holes though run correctly the virtualization should prevent any changes to the system.
