Hey all,

I was wondering what some of the best tool would be in order to perform PC Repair on a computer for

> Hardware Diagnosit
> Virus Removal
> Registry Cleaning
> Trojan / Malware Removal
> Root Kit Scanners
> Data Recovery
> Data Security
> etc.

I'm already using MalwareBytes which I think covers most of these but I'm also looking for more tools as well such as networking diagnostics as well and security diagnostic tools also. These are just some extras i would like to get some advice one if possible but I defiantly want to focus on these topics

Specifically what types of security protocols are you interested in monitoring?

List of PUP/Adware/Toolbars/Browser Hijacking Scan Tools::

List of Free Scan & Disinfection Tools to supplement your anti-virus or get a second opinion::

Many of these tools are stand-alone applications by themselves or contained within zipped files...meaning they require no installation so after extraction, they can be copied to and run from usb drives.

I'm looking for Windows 7 and newer tools to be used as for security measures I'm looking to get as secure as possible without too much sacrifice or complicated restrictions on functionality

The tools noted above should all work on Windows 7.

There is also the option for something like FixMeStick, a bootable USB drive that runs before your computer boots so that it can remove malware from outside the Windows (or MacOS) environment and within a Linux-based environment. The FixMeStick's multi-scanner uses scanning engines from three anti-virus companies: Kaspersky, Avira, and Sophos, and accesses an additional set of anti-virus scanners online via OPSWATs Metadefender. And there is...

For a recovery tool look at Lazesoft Recovery Suite, free for non-commercial use. The software can create Winpe5 which will work on Windows 7.

There is no need for 'registry cleaning' via any 'tool".

"Hardware diagnosis" is a large non-category ...many OEM system come with their own sets of tools for such.
