So i have an Acer 4750G laptop and iv been working and playing video games with no problem since mid 2012 but i have to mention that i had Hard disk problem since almost the time i bought it and i think after 1 year of doing the disk check i found out that i have Bad sectors on my toshiba 640Gb SATA HDD which is growing even more to this very day...Anyways..until 2 month ago i decided to update my Nvidia driver to latest version and got some hiccups and freezing but no error or bsod..so i decided to roll back to my previous nvidia driver that was working fine for me and i got no stutters after that rolling back.after some time of playing with no problem i crashed out of a game with the error :Display driver nvidia kernel mode has stoped responding and recovered successfully.i tried a lot of rolling back and installing newer nvidia drivers and after a headache finally made it work again but not for a long time...at the same time i realized that i never cleaned my laptop out of dust for those years since i bought it and my fan wasnot working at the needed speed for graphic card so i immidiatly did a cleaning service and termal paste on my laptop and then things start to work fine as before. unfortunatly after 1 month problem came back with even more BSOD and display driver has stoped and even more hard disk smart event errors. after doing speccy check i only get errors for my hard disk saying Status :Bad while temp on my graphic cards and everything is normal like 44c or so...have to mention when i play with my onboard intel HD 3000 i get no crashes but since its a realy weak video card not for running games im never going to use it,,,i did a lot of stress test including memtest and intel cpu diagnostics with no problem but after chkdsk gives me errors all the time as i mentioned before.i did all simple steps to fix this mentioned on the internet like clean installing drivers ..reinstalling new windows..and simply every simple step so what im asking you guys is that i: can a bad hard disk be the problem here or i have a faulty Video card on my hand ??
since i have no money at hand to buy a new gaming laptop or pc any kind of help from you guys would be the biggest gift for me..Thanks
