I have a hp pavilion desktop with windows 7 ultimate. When I start it sometimes it will stay on for couple hours & others it shuts off right after i enter my password.I've booted in safe mode with networking & ran a scan with malwarebytes & hitman. Everything came back clean. Here are the specs;Pavilion p6230y, amd phenom IIx4 810 processor,16 gigs ram, 3 terabyte seagate hdd, nvidea 650 gtx graphics card.I hope this is the correct forum. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.btw when it shuts down I have to unplug it from power to get it to turn back on.

The most curios and suspect at the same time is that the power supplu is not passing enouh load for all harware componenet. Try another source.
