So I hope I can explain all this right.

I´m sure my computer has some sort of virus or possibly trojan or something like it and O need help to find it and remove it.

The computer keeps crashing and freezing and there´s no way to use it for anything. It ´s contantly blocking - It´s a nightmare and I really don´t know what to do.

Because of this I´ve been trying to figure out what is wrong in the last week without success. But I suspect the infection is much older than that.

Task Manager has too may programs running - more than 100.

Some I´m not even using and these programs are all there at startup. I´m sure it´s not right - I remember when I installed Windows 10 upgrade and it always had around 10 programs maximum, maybe less.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security and it has some kind of problem with the Verification scan. Reinstalling Kaspersky didn´t resolve it. The complete scan starts everyday, and drags for hours stopping the computer. The only solution: shut down. Despite definitions to work only once a month, the scan keeps coming back everyday and it never finishes or finds any threat.

This has stopped in the last days, after some changes made thanks to other programs.

I can´t update windows - many updates fail installation.

Adobe Acrobat also doesn´t update - always fails.

None of the programs or scanners I used found anything that resolved this. Besides Kaspersky I tried:

- Hitman Pro - found ILIVID and I removed all the keys and files that it indicated. It had a persistent icon on the notification area to download ilivid

- ESET premium Security - the log said it was unable to open many files

- Windows Defender Offline

- Kaspersky Virus Removal tool, also tried in Safe mode, administrator rights

- Kaspersky TDSSKiller in safe mode, administrator rights

And now, the left side of desktop seems to not work completely. The settings button doesn´t open but I can still access them through another way.

The shortcut for Karspersky on desktop doesn´t work.

I can´t choose administrator for cmd anymore, it´s just not available when I search for it, and same for powershell.

This happened after windows updates, where some failed. Right after the windows updates, the last time I worked with administrator rights was in safe mode, when I ran Trojan.Poweliks Remover from Kaspersky. This found nothing and, that I noticed, did nothing. When I returned to windows (normal mode) I saw several windows flashing briefly before closing, some white and some black. After that, when I could finally use the computer, I went for the settings button and it wasn´t working.

I ran CCleaner and it says some dll files are missing but I´m not sure they´re not obsolete. System File checker didn´t find any problem.

Whatever it is, it´s still in the computer.

I hope someone can help, I really don´t know what to do anymore.
