Ok, so, I'm trying to clear the residual files after uninstalling Avast! Free Antivirus. I'm using the free trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro. I went into force uninstall, then searched "Avast" and these things came up (in the linked image). https://i.redd.it/o8hlfcwg5iz01.jpg

These files don't look like Avast files to me, but I could be wrong. Should I go ahead and clear them? If not, how can I go about clearing leftover avast files with Revo Uninstaller Pro free trial? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks.

Those 2 files are a part of Avast and can be deleted , if you left them they are only Registry leftovers after the uninstall , so not an issue anyway.

Anytime you are removing reg files its a good practice to create a system restore point prior using any third party apps ,,,,just in case.

Again i would just leave them unless you are having any issues.

I also sometimes use Antivirus Uninstallers from https://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/

I see Quietman has responded at same time so follow his directions first.
