The problem is my PC shows that sound is coming from my speakers (yes they work) but on my PC no matter what i plug into them nothing will come out sound wise. There is a slight weird sound that happens every so often but other than that NOTHING. I have updated all drivers even got remote desktop help from a windows help employee. If someone has some advice or could throw something else to try my way i would be eternally grateful. I haven't had sound for such a long time, I've been using a usb sound card and it finally gave out and i don't want to use one anymore i would just like my PC to work ;)

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Check your Sound options in Control Panel and see what your Playback device is set to use.  If your video card supports HDMI, it is possible that it is set as your sound device.
