strange characters in the folder and file name, on the usb stick

probably some malware has renamed the folders and files on my usb stick, so that you can not open them, rename them etc. even scanning with the antivirus is not possible.

Move out whatever important you have there and format the stick.

I wanted to understand if malware is present. I could not do a scan with security esentials

Unfortunately I can't read this kind of characters either.

If you look at files' dates, they look suspicious so there is no reason to deliberate but to whack them.

I did not understand :) is there malware or is not there? What kind of file corrosion is it? I think it may have been caused only by malware. but I would like to understand what malware it is, to eliminate it and be safe.

I already told you what to do.

I can't read those characters so I don't know if this is malware or not so your best option is to format the drive.
