Hi,

I just bought a ASUS Internal Wireless Adapter with Bluetooth.  In order for the bluetooth to work, I need to connect a cable from the new card to the motherboard.  However, my Dell Optiplex 7020 does not have a F_USB connector on the motherboard.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks.

From what I have read of the MB you do have a USB 3 header but I assume the card needs a 9 pin USB 2 header.

You could get one of these if you can find it.

Edit Edit: This card is currently available with an internal header.

Edit: If the computer is a SFF then the bracket on the above would not fit. This adapter would only work on a Mini Tower.

I missed it but if you have a Minitower there is a internal USB 2 header available. See item 20 on page 30. I could not find a manual for the Desktop version of the 7020. It may have an internal USB 2 header also.

If it's a SFF then looking at the manual it seems the cards have the low-profile bracket for add-on cards but I can't be sure. You Wifi card looks like it has a full length bracket which would not fit.
