I think I logged into my work email on my personal laptop at some point, because I get this popup every time I turn on my laptop. Windows 8 here.

The grayed out bar is my work email. The username field pre-populates with my work email as well. When I kill the process COM Surrogate (32 bit), the box disappears, but comes back next time I wake up my PC from sleep. How do I make it go away?

Looking a bit on the web...this isn't a malware issue.

If it is a startup issue or Task issue you may find it by using CCleaner's tools.

Use CCleaner to remove Temporary files, program caches, cookies, logs, etc. Use the Default settings. No need to use the

Registry Cleaning Tool...risky. Pay close attention while installing and UNcheck offers of Google Chrome and Avast.

After install, open CCleaner and run by clicking on the Run Cleaner button in the bottom right corner.

CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

Post the TWO lists mentioned below using CCleaner.

Open CCleaner and click on Tools. Choose Startups. On that page you will see a list of Windows Startups and at the top tabs for each browser and Scheduled Tasks.

At the bottom right of that page you will see a button when clicked will allow you to Copy and Paste the list of Windows Startups and Scheduled Tasks into your next

post. Please do that.

You can use AutoRuns for Windows  to find the startup item if it is not listed in CCleaner's list.

This utility, which has the most comprehensive knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs are configured to run during system bootup or login, and when you start various built-in Windows applications like Internet Explorer, Explorer and media players. These programs and drivers include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other Registry keys. Autoruns reports Explorer shell extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, auto-start services, and much more. Autoruns goes way beyond other autostart utilities.

You will likely need to use AutoRuns for Windows  as mentioned in my first post to find the problem startup. Check after doing the
above and rebooting if the unwanted popup still appears.

If you haven't read the info in the link I posted for Autoruns...do that.
