Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

One of the usual culprits in black screen issue is the graphic driver.  Have you tried opening the Device Manager to uninstall your graphics drive, then restart the computer so that a new drive will be installed?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
