My PC has been doing this since midway through December last year. I have replaced the GPU, RAM, and PSU, before upgrading the PSU it would crash when playing more demanding games, but after the PSU upgrade the crashes are a lot less common but can occur when doing anything.
When it crashes all sound stops and I just see a still image of what was last being shown on the screen before the crash.
