Hi, i might have a problem with my computer. I play video games on the PC like League of legends, however, my internet speed slows down almost every evening causing lag. I am home alone and I don't use other devices that can cause the internet to slow down. I asked my older brother, who is more experienced with computer, and says I might have a virus that could be the cause for my computer to have a slower connection. My computer is also wired to the internet router. I have tried many techniques to try to get the connection running normally on the computer like unplugging the router for a few seconds or disconnecting other devices from the internet, but they don't work. I even ran a speed test on my connection during the evening and the connection is good, but doesn't explain why my connection is slow during the evening. I even have this problem where when I leave my computer on without touching it and come back after maybe a few hours or leaving it on overnight, the connection is disconnected on the computer, and I have to shut off and turn the PC back on. Restarting it will will not sometimes work. My computer never really did this, but it started doing this maybe a few months ago, Thinking about it, it could be apart of the problem why I have a slow connection. Hoping to get a scan for a virus and maybe finding a solution why this problem is occurring, thank you.
