What happened to you? your files are encrypted with the * .exx extension?

To get a private key and decrypt your files you need the following files from you:

storage.bin (752B) (.exx)

RECOVERY_KEY.TXT / RECOVERY_FILE.TXT (232B) (.ecc, .ezz, .exx, .xyz)

Location of data file on disk:% localappdata% \ storage.bin [752 bytes]
Location of recovery file:% mydocuments% \ RECOVERY_FILE.TXT

any of these files are required.

TeslaCrypt 2.0 will have the .ezz or .exx extension appended to the end of the encrypted data filename and leave files (ransom notes) named HELP_TO_SAVE_FILES.txt and RECOVERY_FILES.TXT. You can submit (upload) samples of encrypted files, ransom notes and any contact email addresses or hyperlinks provided by the cyber-criminals to ID Ransomware for assistance with identification and confirmation.

Information for decrypting TeslaCrypt 2.x files with .ecc, .ezz, .exx, .xyz, .zzz, .aaa, .abc, .ccc, or .vvv extensions can be found in this BC news article: TeslaCrypt Dencrypted: Flaw in TeslaCrypt allows recovery of encrypted files. Instructions on how to recover the key for decryption are also included in TeslaDecoder.zip.

Support for TeslaCrypt 2.x (and older versions) is provided in this topic where victims can post comments, ask questions and seek further assistance.Support for specific TeslaCrypt 2.x decryption requests is provided here:To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.
