Hi Guys,

For no apparent reason today the quick launch " show desktop " icon on my taskbar has stopped working.
I've installed nothing new, run no new programs, just my typical day at the pc.

If i use the windows key + m it still minimises everything ... but i cant figure out why this button would suddenly stop functioning.

It's hardly disasterous enough to bring my computing life to a crashing halt, but i just hate when something like that happens for no apparent reason.

Anybody got any cles or theories ?

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

From the following Microsoft support article, try the Guided Help to re-create or remove the Show Desktop icon on the Quick Launch toolbar. Let us know if that helped.

Thanks for the advice Joshuacat,

Followed the steps, but unfortunately, it didnt work.

I noticed at the bottomof that article howeve, that it applies to versions of IE up to and including 6.0

Im using the new 7.0, but have been for some months, and its only become an issue today.

Don't suppose you have a plan B ??

Thanks again,
