Won't be posting the HiJackthis log, but I have an issue with some ads popping up when I click on the screen sometimes, or my browser will refresh on it's own without my consent, or take me to some porn website I have no interest in being at. Apparently I clicked yes without reading the terms... Anyways, if anyone could help me out on this perhaps vague request, I'd greatly appreciate it. I just want my damn browser back.

Have you run any of the bug cleaning programs? Malwarebytes Free, Superantispyware Free there are several others but those are my favorites. Both are in the down load section here on this site.

No, I have not. but I'll get Malwarebytes a go. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the browser itself, so hopefully that will have resolved it, yet I know that it's not always that simple with a computer.

Update, I ran Malwarebytes and I had 2 hijackers plus an undisclosed number of other issues, but I believe those 2 guys were what was giving me so much grief. Thanks for the help Phil.

Phil, end of day 2 and no issues, could be celebrating early but I'm certain I'm cured. Thank you much.
