My other half and I are thinking about going to Israel, looking for input on a really good 10 day visit.  Any ideas of total costs, and what may be the best tour.

Get travel insurance along with your tickets and stuff; and, have a great trip!

Just going by your topic title (and you may have already found this), there's one site on travel packages: Rates/Dates button at the bottom-

I'm sure there are many other similar sites.

Anyway, if/when you do go, I'll second the 'have a great trip!'

Hi Phil!

How exciting it will be for you and your other half to take a trip to Israel! A few weeks ago, I enjoyed an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford about her travels to Israel which led her to writing her book, “The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi." As you make arrangements for your trip, I think you might enjoy this book with all of her spiritual writings and adventures while travelling in Israel! It might be insightful and lead you to great places to visit while in the holy land.

Below you will find a link to an article about her book. Here is a small sample of some of her words:

Israel is my favorite place in all the world because it’s the land where is all started; it all happened here,” says Kathie Lee. “I believe that something profound happens when one follows along the ancient paths in the actual places that Jesus taught, healed, lived died, was resurrected and ascended into Heaven.”

(Keep us posted!)

P.S. This post to Phil is not meant as an endorsement of the book, it's only for happy sharing.
