my PC is causing issues. It runs on Win 7 -64bit.

PC enters the desktop OK but then it is unresponsive for a longer time than normal with the cursor flashing and not always responding to clicking and typing. Also the taskbar remains empty for a long time and some thumbnails are 'empty' (i.e. not showing the logo). The event viewer shows 3 critical errors in the last 24 hours (Event ID 41; Source: Kernel-Power), and 137 errors in the last 24h; a majority coming from the Source: MsiInstaller, and RestartManager applications.

I did a full virus scan with avira and there was one adware found but that's it. I'm hoping someone can help figuring this out.

Thank you
