Okay, I may sound very inexperienced (because I am), but please help me. I use an Ubuntu 14.04.

I did all the download instructions I could figure out, and got to the Package Installer where I installed the .deb file, but now how do I open it? Very very sorry if someone already asked this (which I bet they did :/)

Thanks if you can help!

What did you install may I ask?

Keep in mind not all applications have graphical user interfaces (GUI) so it may be a command only application.

You know you want me baby!

You mean " open" it to install it? or open it to run the software after install?

The article I've linked to below gives a description of what .deb packages are, and how they're installed.
