I have a tablet that is experiencing hard locks at random times and I only see it when I come back to it and it is completely unresponsive without any BSOD, the tablet is docked and is always powered on. It can be resolved by just rebooting it. After I reboot I can see a Windows Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows, I then get the minidump and in there I can see

BugCheck DEADDEAE, {0, 0, 0, 0}

Probably caused by : iai2c.sys ( iai2c!AcquireMbiSemaphoreLock+21f )

But I can see to find any reason why this is happening, I checked that driver and it is the most updated If anyone has any suggestions to try or to troubleshoot it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Michael
