Command prompt flashes on taskbar

As a Windows 7 user, I always close out the day by deleting unnecessary files.  If you see a command prompt icon flash on and off your task bar, it's because you have left a command in the Run command.  Go to start, type run.  In the window that opens, see if anything is in the box.  I usually put in temp, %temp% and prefetch to clear these files out.  If, after you delete these file, you don't go back and delete what you put in the box, a command prompt icon will flash off and on in the task bar.  Simply make sure the run box is empty and, no more command prompt flashes.
