Since last week, my computer freezes constantly

I am unable to move files, either by drag n drop or copy / paste.

The computer freezes completely, and usually will not come back on.

please help!

If your boot time has also increased then this indicated something wrong with your hard drive which is causing the freeze in moving files. Scan for virus....

try using the computer in safe mode for a day....do you get the same results?
