I play 3 musical instruments, one of which is the mandolin. As such,i'm a member of a mandolin chat room - 'The Mandolin Cafe' ( MC ) & have been for over 10 years & have had no problem using it at all.

3 days ago,i clicked onto my MC desktop shortcut,& it took around 10 - 15 seconds to open up. I went to the 'Forum' log in page, entered my

name / p-word & it came up '' website is too busy - try again later''. I tried again & it came up with a simple ''error'' message in the top left hand corner. I did eventually  log in after several attempts, but if i clicked on a Forum item to read,i got another message - ''sorry,we couldn't find the page that you were looking for''

I did notice that the URL in each case contained  a ''php'' value :-  https://www.mandolincafe.com/404.php

                                                                                                          https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?41-Bluegrass-Newgrass-Country-Gospel-Variants

Is this 'php' 'whatever' the possible cause of the problem - if so,is there a simple = easy to understand solution to it ?. It's something that i've not come across before.
