Still digesting assorted benchmarks at various reviewers' websites and Youtube channels, but, Ryzen 2 looks like a solid incremental gain, and, a couple hundred extra MHz and all around better performance than their predecessors...

VERY odd results at Anandtech, w/ Ryzen 2 pretty much sweeping all chosen/displayed gaming benchmarks, however, the results here seem a bit out of line with what everyone else is reporting, or else possibly Anandtech simply chose the gaming benchmarks that showed the product in the best possible light? (Or perhaps everyone else did the opposite?) Not interested in denigrating Ryzen 2's solid performance gains, however, and, we'll see lots more reviews I'm sure over the coming days!)

Quite exactly what I expected. Anandtech's results are interesting and soon they will tell if there was anything wrong.

As I suspected, Anandtech's results were indeed suspect, and, now corrected, as it appears AT were disabling Windows High Performance timer functions, to the detriment of all....

(But, I'm sure you expected that as well... :)  )

This assortment of gaming benchmarks has the 2700X about on par with the 6700K, although naturally, once streaming is thrown into the equation, the 2600-2700X will walk away quickly with substantial leads, as expected....

--On a different note, I see AMD is using 'crappy toothpaste' with their APU models (2200G/2400G);....have they earned your infamous 'toothpaste wrath' and perhaps the eternal doom and damnation of a 'Drillmaster-non-recommended/ Badge of Shame' for such practices? :)

Another example why benchmarks suck compared to situations where games are actually played. Not surprising.
