The online description for AdwCleaner version 7.1  now does not anylonger show for use in Windows Vista; just shows listed Windows 7, 8, 10.  Is there some alternative product or program  (FREE) which will work on Windows Vista?

Asking because I still do have and use a computer with Windows Vista.

Thanks quietman7; I will look into those suggestions.  Meanwhile, I did download and run AdwCleaner 7.1 on the Windows Vista machine.  No problem opening it and seemingly no problem running it.  Only one PUP found - Firefox Ask, which for now I believe I can safely leave there.

One thing I notice, is that no path is shown for the one item found.  I think this is the new way how AdwCleaner presents found items now; because I also ran v7.1 on Windows 10, but when an item was found, no path info was available there either.

From what I understand AdwCleaner is not officially supported on Vista but it still works.
