Hi Guys.

I am having trouble fighting a bitcoin miner malware masked as "Wmiprvsf.exe". I have tried 10-12 different anti-malware programs and cleaning tools and non of them can get rid of it and clean the root of the infection.Malware Bytes detects it and quarantines it on the go but every time i reboot it comes back 10-15 minutes after windows boots.

I am attaching the Scan Log, FRST.txt and Additional.txt

Please advise.

Kind Regards,
Yosif

Hi Nasdaq,

First of all thanks for looking at my case.

Your fixlist seems to work perfectly. Now Java is not present at all and there seem to be no malware symptoms anymore. I am attaching the fixlog here.

Thanks again for this solution. I am now informed what threats does the Java pose in terms of Malware attraction and execution.

Kind Regards,

Yosif
