All in one phone call from from my aunt, my uncle has cancer and her son serving in Afghanistan got shot in the head.  His team member called the family, he will be transported to Germany for treatment.  We all have our fingers crossed!

Thanks in advance for your prayers!

Phil

Sympathy.

I am going to be away on holiday until the 13th May. While I expect to have internet access my time on-line may well be limited and PMs may not be replied to as quickly as normal.

So sorry to hear of your family's travails.  There are those days when things can just be too much to bear.  "Strength vibes" as a friend of mine used to call them are being sent in the direction of you and your extended family.

Our best thoughts and wishes for you as well, and commiseration having recently (as well no doubt many here) gone through similar tough times.

For your first cousin (if I have the relational term right) wounded in Afghanistan, a heartfelt thank you for his service and earnest hopes for a recovery Old Phil.

Dear Phil,

I’m so sorry you and your family are going through this, and I will keep you and yours in my prayers. “God will take care of us and give us no more to worry about than, with His help, we can manage.
