Hi I'm not sure if this is in the right topic so please direct me to the correct one if i'm in the wrong place.  I'm looking for any alternatives to PcUnlocker software.  I need a software that is UEFI bootable. I'm trying to bypass the windows password on my Dell Venue 8 Pro . Any suggestions would be great! **oh and its probably important to note that the recovery on this tablet is corrupt or at least anything you choose in recovery says it needs ot be recovered and will not work. It's running windows 8.1 32bit

With proof of ownership in your hand, with the computer in question in your hand, your best bet is to consult a local computer fix-it shop, perhaps s/he can advise you on what to do for this situation.

Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor
I have successfully used this software over & over again throughout the years. Follow this link: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ to obtain the download and instructions for using.

OTG Adapter
You may need a OTG adapter to use the bootable USB drive with the Dell Venu 8 Pro. The OTG adapter should be available from your local Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/c/kp/usb-otg-adapters and the cost won't send you into shock. (Example: C&E USB 2.0 A Female to Micro B Male Adapter Cable Micro USB Host Mode Straight OTG Cable, 2 Pack Walmart #: 563140657 $3.30)

If the instructions offered on the download site for using the Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor seem a bit confusing, please refer to this link: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-remove-passwords-using-offline-nt-password-registry-editor-2626167 for somewhat easier to follow usage instructions.

I wish you success in recovering your system.
