trying to replace an old thermaltake RX 600W and the motherboard requires 12 pins...to get to 12v, the motherboard has both an 8 pin and a 4 pin input and the old thermaltake uses an 8pin that has a sidecar 4pin cable to power the two cpus.

I'm looking for a contemporary 600-800w PSU with the same dimensions as the thermaltake that also has the same power cable configruation.

What motherboard? At least Seasonic S12-II 520W had that kind of configuration. I expect 620W version also has.

You can also use adapter from PCI Express connector if motherboard really needs both.
