I can't update Windows anymore, and the Troubleshoot Problems link doesn't work either, saying "A problem is preventing the troubleshooter from starting."
I saw another post about the 800F0900 error, but you asked them for log files, etc., and the fix seemed pretty specific to them, so I thought I should post my own.
My CBS.log file (too big to attach without zipping) is attached.
