Hi,

I would first of all investigate the software on the HP laptop, as that would be more likely to be where the problem lies. Which version of Windows does the laptop use?

run fine on my ipad running at the same time  (my emphasis)

How does your laptop perform if you turn the iPad off ?  You do realise that this splits the available bandwidth betwen the two devices. If the iPad happens to be getting a better signal it may not leave enough for the laptop to stream videos without bufferiing and freezing.

I've run it with both ipad and laptop on to compare but most of the time only laptop is connected to wifi.

Just for info. I'm on Plusnet averaging  10/12 mbps.

What is odd is that I have no problems with youtube or other web site videos, just from this one website, others that use it don't seem to ha.

Another odd thing is happening, when I post  it comes up blank and I have to edit, write agin and post for it to show, hope that's clear.

I've run various virus tools including tdsskiller and all come up clear.

Tthe problem of blank posts has nothing to do with you, it is apparently down to a 'bug' in the forum software and a fix for it hasn't been found yet. It usually strikes randomly and not very often but is very annoying.

Perhaps the problem is with that website, rather than with your computer.

I'll move your topic to the Audio and Video forum in any case, since the problem seems unrelated to Internal Hardware.
