Just Installed A Diamond Xtreme Sound Card Now No Sound

I just installed a Diamond Xtreme 5.1 sound on a computer with windows xp drives installed just fine but I get no sound when I try to play anything any ideas what could be wrong??

I fixed problem with the sound card I deleted the driver that came with the cd and ran Driver Fixer it found a driver and installed.  I also had to disable and deleted a USB sound card driver these two things fixed my problem  Now I am getting audio playback from the Diamond Xtreme.
