WD My Cloud Question.

So Supposedly straight Forward installation. I got the drive working and functioning with the available desktop download that uses the device. My issue is when I plug into a port on the router, network and sharing does not recognize the device. I believe it did at first but I could not use it regardless so I did some tweeking and lost the icon all together when I unistalled the device from device manager. Now like I stated the drive is not recognized through network and sharing but I can still use it. Call me crazy but I still was hoping for a resolution to this because curiosity gets the best of me. Is there a way to get the device to be recognized in network and sharing because I'm pretty sure I was the one to cause the issue but restarting the computer did not re install the drivers.So whatever i unistalled from device manager did not return.


And I get an error if I look for the device in network folder or try to map the drive not sure what that means, I have a samsung smart 4k and it is not recognizing the drive either which Im pretty sure all this is supposed to work a little smoother than it is for me. Mostly I wanted it to play files from anywhere with the tv and such.
