Has anyone had trouble with there PC locking up after a update?

You need to boot to the safe mode and do a restore back before the last update.  Lately there has been a large number of updates that are getting corrupted in transit.

It will not boot into safe mode, it keeps taking me back to enter my password and when I do it keeps saying wrong password, and I double checked the password it is the right one.
