I am trying to image a drive encrypted by Bitlocker. I have the password, but the command to retrieve the recovery password keeps getting errors (have researched this, no luck). Trying to access the image from another computer, it appears that I can open data files but not run programs. Accessing the image from the computer it came from does allow running of programs from the image.
Is there a way to get a fully functioning  image with only the regular Bitlocker password (not the recovery password)?
Tried  using "manage-bde.exe -protectors -get C: -Type recoverypassword" but keep getting errors.
Thanks for reading -- appreciate any help you can offer.
